Product information "Fennel Anise Elixir"
Three ingredients. Three countries. This is our “Fennel Anise Elixir”. Fennel and anise come from Egypt and Turkey. Caraway comes from Finland. All three grow in the fields. Fennel is mainly found in Mediterranean regions. It needs warm, nutrient-rich soil. The harvest period takes place at the end of September. The seeds go into tea. For this, the umbels are dried upside down. Anise is native to the Eastern Mediterranean. Türkiye, Spain, Hungary, Lebanon and Egypt. It is now mainly cultivated there. You also need anise seeds for the tea. Cut the umbels, dry them, collect the seeds. This is what its harvest looks like in early autumn. And cumin. It comes from the Middle East and Mediterranean countries. However, it is cultivated today as far away as Europe and Siberia. It requires loamy and sandy soil. Finnish caraway is of first class quality. This is why we find it in our tea.
