And this is how they manage their plantations. The evergreen tea plant, Camellia sinensis, thrives in the highland tea regions. Therefore: China is the world's largest producer of tea. The plants made into our jasmine green tea grow on small farms. early in the morning When the jasmine flowers are still closed. Then they are picked and placed with the tea leaves. When they open, they envelop the tea leaves with their delicate fragrance. Totally natural. Without any chemistry, they go at it. This is how a Chinese delicacy enters your cup.
