Some like it moderate, others like it hot. And we can't decide. Mint, Lemongrass and Rooibos. They characterize our “Stay Balanced”. Peppermint. It is now cultivated in all temperate regions of Europe and Asia. But its origin is the Mediterranean region. Lots of lime and lots of nitrogen salts. Sun to partial shade. This is when it grows best. For us, she travels from Bulgaria, the USA, Austria or Egypt. Its sister, spearmint, also comes from Egypt. And our lemongrass. Or Paraguay. Although it has a lemony taste, it belongs to the sweet grass family. It prefers a humid and warm climate. Lots of sun and sandy soil. Our Rooibos can't decide whether it's hot or cold. It looks like him. It is so demanding that it only grows in the Cedar Mountains of South Africa. Hot and dry in summer. Cold and wet in winter. A sandy bottom. He only agrees with the climate there. Near Cape Town.
