Hibiscus, rosehip and licorice. They form the basis of our “Happy Fruits” fruit tea. And all three grow in open fields. However, in completely different corners of the earth. Hibiscus. It is native to Asia. It is a family of mallows - as a shrub or tree. Tropical to subtropical climate. It needs it to thrive optimally. And good moist soil. It is now also commonly grown in warmer regions of Europe, South America and Africa. Our hibiscus comes from West Africa. From Burkina Faso. Because that’s where we find the best organic quality. The flower is treated. dark red. This is how it colors your tea. The rosehip. It is the fruit of different kinds of roses. Bright orange-red. Their growing areas are Europe, Asia, South America and North Africa. Our fruits come from Chile. The sweet and sour taste enters your cup thanks to their dried peels. And licorice root. This is the base of licorice. Hence this typical and subtle taste of liquorice. Licorice is mainly found in Western Asia and the Mediterranean region. From Iran and Uzbekistan. This is where our roots come from.
